On Sunday June 7, 2009 the RCDolner First Annual Exotic Car tour took place. It all began at 8:30 am at the Suburban Golf Club in Union NJ. Drivers of these exotic cars upon arrival received official registration, a number RCDolner decal and Sponsorship decals. Drivers also received a gift bag filled with a first aid kit, air fresheners, tire gauge, polish cloth, flashlights, etc. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room overlooking the green manicured grounds of the golf club. At exactly 11:30 all participants began the drive with police escort to West Point Academy. The drive included local roads in Hohokus, Saddle River and Upper Saddle River. Local police participated to facilitate the parade of these beautiful machines. Many local residents cheered along the route with American and Checkered Flags. The entire drive took approx 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once in Highland Falls which surrounds West Point, the drivers were welcomed with flag lined streets and many other cheering them on. After entering the gates of West Point all the cars were parked in a guarded parking lot by the Jr. ROTC. All drivers then arrived at the Thayer Hotel bountiful brunch in a beautiful room and garden overlooking the Hudson. Many speeches were made honoring WWII Vets, Korea Vets as well as Vets of the Iraq war. Ceremonies included setting of American Flag, Folding American Flag, Charity Donations presented to Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund and The University of Michigan Linda Dolce Scleroderma Research Fund. Each charity was given a check of $75,000 dollars. The event was closed with awards to the best cars.
